我太太是H1B身份, 可以先换成H4不回国, 等到绿卡申请满1年后从新申请H1B EXTENSION 吗?

In fact, in this case, it's you that can changed to H4 stop working and waiting till Sept to request 6th year H1 extension (also cleared by the same memo).
