H1b extension approval while physically out of US

Dear Pjang:

If I apply for H1b extension before I leave for china.

1. What happens if my application is approved while I am in China?

2. Will that invalidated the approval?

3. If it is approved after I came back, which I94 is valid: the one with the Parolee stamp or the one with H1b extension approval?
