H1B 兼职问题求教！

本人 EB2，PD还未到。现在是 H1B 身份。485已递交。现在有机会在另一个单位做一个 contract 的项目 to make a few extra bucks。并不想换工作。不知能否接受这样的 contract job 兼职？诚心请教！扣谢！
