Urgent::: Pjiang, radiology and other expert: : H1b application

我的护照是2009年1月5号过期， 现在在一所非盈利机构做博士后， 上周报H1b申请材料到秘书， 我刚才看radiology贴子，说尽管我申请是3年的， 移民局也只批到我的护照的过期日。是这样的吗？ 如果是这样的， 我叫lawyer 收回我的申请， 等待我的护照extension date another 5 years.
