####PLEASE HELP-- OPT/JOB/H1B--THANKS####

I came to US in Fall 2005, left the first MS program in summer 2007,
and got the first MS in Dec 2007 after credit transfer. I started my second MS program immediately after leaving the first school in Fall 2007 and expect to graduate in May 2008. I recently got an job offer from a small
company.

I haven't filed OPT application and can file it on the coming monday
(Feb,04,2008).

Now, I wish to start to work as soon as I graduate in May.
I understand that my coming petition to H1b may be in conflict with my
OPT application, had the OPT application not been approved before the
end of March.

I am wondering what is the best thing I can do at this time.
If my OPT application can not be approved at the end of March, can I
withdraw it immediately and still be able to apply for H1b? In that
case, is there any way that I can stay in US legally and wait till
October to start working?

I appreciate all the inputs as well as contacts from fee based
atternays, since my company has asked me to target a immigration
lawyer anyway.
