This is very helpful. Actually we plan to come back before April 1st, this is the worst case we will face in case my H1B is checked and can not be returned on time. Thank you very much.

I have one more question, can my wife work only with H1B approval notice without visa stamped?? If yes, can she go to Canada to get the visa stamped any time within 3 years?? Thanks again for your professional answer.
