Do I need to apply for AP, if I have H1-B and I-485 pending?

Looking for advise:

I have a H1-B and my I-485 is pending. I am planning to go back to China for a visit in this Summer.

Do I need to apply for AP (advanced parole)? I checked USCIS webiste, which says that I do not need AP. But I searched this Wenxuecity website, there are some posts saying there is a need. I just got confused. May anyone help to make it clear?
