H1B 7 Year extension

Hi! Folks,

My H1B status started in Feb 03; I transferred to my current company in 05 and the H1B will end in Oct. 08. Should I apply for the 7th year extension now?

I got the I-140 approved in 06 and with 485 pending. Can I get a three-year extension? Please help!!! Thank you.
