My own experience, came to US under J1 in 2000, got waiver in 2002, went back China with H1B for first time in March this year, visa interview in Beijing, they only looked at my H1B approve notice, asked two questions, "first time come back?" & "What company you work for?" and visa issued. I think you just need to prepare the check list (search from this Forum) and show the confidence because there is no reason to reject issuing the visa to you. PS:H1B allows 移民倾向
