急问小白兔，收音机和PJIANG老师: H1B transfer

Just started a job on 10/01 based on a company H1B (effective 10/01, advanced degree, previously in an university on an academic H1B), but then find a job from another company close to my spouse, and certainly would like to transfer the job.

Is there a required minimum time for which I have to work for my current employer before I can file a transfer? Will 11/15 (3 bi-weekly pay checks) be good enough?

Any risk in the transfer? If the transfer is denied, may I continue working for my current employer if they don't withdraw my current H1B?
