If H1-b visa is rejected, will it affect on 140&485?

I am holding an H1-b visa and 140 pending, 485 not submitted, yet. I am planning to travel to Singapore on business for 2 days. So I have to renew my H1-b visa in Beijing. What is the risk if H1-b renew is rejected? I heard that it was likely to be checked for 2 weeks normally. How will H1-b rejection or long-time check affect my 140 and future 485?
