H1b持有人在AP拿到之前出境视为放弃485?

今天看到一个贴子说在AP拿到之前出境视为放弃485,吓我一跳!

我婆婆上周三突然生病,我lg周四就飞回去了.他的AP是上周一批准的,但是这周才收到(邮局真慢!) .也就是说在他走的时候并没拿到AP....
他是H1b签证, 3年多次往返

问问各位大侠他是放弃485??
