H1B and B1/B2, Can I enter US? Many Thanks!!!

My passport has B1/B2 and H1B same time,
B1/B2 valid until 2012,
H1B annotation says valid from Sep 21st this year to Sep xth 2010
To rent a house, the landlord needs to see us before signing the lease.

So I intend to enter US before Sep 21st for the house with B1/B2, and then go back, and then enter after Sep 21st with H1B for SSN and work.

Sine never have this kind of situation in my life. So please:
Does that jeopardize any thing?
