I don't think it applies to us, since our job has already begun many days ago. What we want to do is to "revalidate" the H1-B, not apply for a new one. Hope that helps. (BTW, just think about this: so many folks have gotten in our situation have gotten their H1-B revalidated in Canada, come back to the U.S., returned to China, and coame back to the U.S. again.)
