请教，关于H1Btransfer中的H4是否要一起申请。

当我H1B在A校的时候，我老公从在国外申请了H4来美国看我。因为我现在要转到B校，B校请了一个非专业的律师帮我办H1transfer. 今天律师来信告诉我说，因为我老公的H4是不基于任何学校的，所以我转校并不影响他。一句话，他不需要跟我一起transfer。我不知道我的律师说的是否有道理。多谢advice。
