- It seems to get a return visa, I will have to go to Canadian US embassy. Do they issue visas the same day?

A: I don't think you have to go to Canada. You can also go to the Consulate General of US in China.

The last time I did this at the US Consulate in Vancouver was end of 2005. They issued visa the same day. I heard that these days some people get it the next day. I'm not sure about the exact turnaround time now.
