Questions about F1 to H1B

I am using my OPT to work for a company and my OPT will be expired in Jun. Now my company want to sponser me to applu for H1B, however, the job offer letter they writen to you states that the starting date for the position is Jul. 1. Is it OK, although the starting date in my application for H1B is Ot. 1?
BTW: sorry, I can't type Chinese on my computer.
