Please help, H1B visa is expiring soon

Hi:

A friend of mine, his H1B visa is expiring soon, and the issuing company/school will not renew again.

How can he get a new one or renew it from another company/school?

Is there any requirement for the company/school like how many employees it has to have, or how much money (revenue) the company have to make?
