Help on H1B and Advanced Parol

I am applying for Green Card with H1B status. I received Labor certification and had filed 140 and 485 at the same time. Last month I recieved my EAD card, and travel document (advanced Parole), which I can use to enter USA without an visa. I have the following questions:
1. What is the pros and Cons for using H1B or advanced parole to enter USA? Is there a reason that H1B is still desirable although I have EAD card and parole?
2. If I apply for a H1B visa and was required for security check, can I still come back to USA with the parole? My employer will not let me stay in China for 6 months for the background check.
