我被公司LAYOFF(I485　PENDING超过两年)，H1B是不占名额的，因为是非盈利机构，听说不可以转H1B（因为不占名额），我申请了EAD，但至少下个月才下来。我的旧公司承诺不象移民局报告什么。
I do not understand why you said non-profit H1b could not be transfered. Usually, it can be transfered into same or similar job.
请问我现在该怎么办，是不是只能等EAD才能工作，绿卡会不会因此受影响呢。
Waiting for EAD is better way. Whether or not it will affect your 485 is based on which type of job you will got. if you get 140 is based on non-profit job, You only can get non-profit job again will help your 485
