H1b transfer approved, can I still work for current employer?

I have University (A) H1b (expires 12/31/2006). A national lab (B) filed H1b transfer and it was approved on 11/09/2006. Can I still work for employ A for a while (before 12/31/2006)? If yes, where can i find such regulations? Thanks a lot!!!
