About the gap between the OPT and H1B.

我的OPT Expired date 是May 7, 2006, 但我的H1B VISA 的有效期是June 20, 2006. 中间有一个多月的gap. 现因急需回国.想在国内返签H1. 请问VO是否会认为中间的gap是非法居留,而给拒签?
