just got H1b (I-797A form), reentry from Canada 急问

我刚刚由F1转成H1b. 已经收到I-797A, 但护照上还只有F1的visa record.

需要去加拿大3天，但没有时间在加拿大签H1b. 请问我能够直接用I-797A 回来吗？
That is, does the revalidation rule still apply to my current case?
