I think rideralert raised a very good question. I have similar situation. I asked some attorneys, they said it is safer to do transfer after working for previous employer for even one day using h1b, that is, we can transfer it after Oct. 1. But, some others said we can do it only after 2-3 months after h1b is effective.

Therefore, we should appreciate xiaobaitu, radiology and other experts if they can provide some input.
