H1B 求救: Amended I-129

现在我们单位准备用加急申请H1B.

上回他们添错的I-129是这样的: Part 2, Item 5, they chose the "requested action" as "Notify the office in Part 4 so the person(s) can obtain a visa or be admitted.(NOTE: a petition is not required for an E-1, E-2 or R visa)" 这个petition是批了.

现在这个加急他们准备 choose the "requested action" as "Amend the stay of the person(s) since they now hold this status."
他们说这是USCIS建议的.

这对吗? 如果那个错的approval notice没把我的身份从F1变成H1, what does the above choice mean?
