H1-B 问题请教!!!!!!!!!!!

H1-B approved, but effective on 6/1/06. If the company closes before 6/1/06
and I will be laid off before 6/1/06, do I need H1-B cap(quota) when I find a
new job which sponsors me H1-B? Do I wait to work until 10/1/06?
