xiaobaitu: Apply H1B visa while I-140 is pending

Due to professional reason, I need to travel to China multiple times each year. Since I am a H1-B visa holder, I have to apply for H1B visa in US embassy in Beijing each time I left USA. (I actually just drop my passport at "zhongxin" bank and go to US embassy for fingerprint) Recently, my lawyer just submitted I-140 on my behalf. If there any issues I may need to be aware of when applying for H1B visa next time in China while my I-140 application is still pending? Please advice and thanks.
