urgent: can I extend 7th H1B?

Hi, I got laid off by Oracle last Thursday.

I just got an new offer and the company will do H1B and PERM for me.

My problem is that I have only 14 months left on my 6 years H1B, which expires April 2007.

In case my new employer is not able to file a new PERM on time,
Is there any possiblity to extend my 7th H1B?

Oracle filed LC for me in 2001 which is remanded and in BEC.
Can I expend my H1B based on that?
Will Oracle allow me to do that?
