My I-140 is self-petitioned based on NIW without employer's sponsorship. My problem is that I am supposed to fill one of the H1-B forms, which as me "Have you ever applied for lawful U.S. permanent resident status"?

I am wondering what I should say. If I should say "No" because it is not related to my employer, I am afraid that it could be thought as cheating since the immigration office can easily check that out.
