If LC filing date (which will be your PD) was more than 365 days ago, you can extend H1B for 1 year at a time.
E2 visa is not for PRC passport holders. Even if you are a citizen of a country eligible for E2 work visa, it is not for employer sponsored job. If you are holding Australia passport, you can use E3 visa.
