Yes, you can. Because your H-1 is not tied to your citizenship. Check with lawyer for detail.

As for TN or H-1, you can do both but I suggest that you talk to your lawyer and use your Canadian passport when file h-1 extension. That way, you still can apply for US greed card. You can not apply for green card based on TN.
