关于大峡谷hiking

我们打算去大峡谷hiking：South Kaibab下去，Bright Angel上来，不在谷下面过夜。想请教这样day hiking需要permit吗？我在网上看说如果要过河是需要Permit的，但网上又说day hiking不过夜是不需要Permit的。可我看别人走过同样线路的文章中提到，从South Kaibab下去，到河边后要过桥(河)才能到Bright Angel Trail，所以不知道到底要不要Permit。
