Looking for partners to hike Grand Canyon South Kaibab Trail

I plan to hike into Canyon on Aug. 13 or 14. If possible, would like to hike the whole way into the suspension bridge. At least would make it to Tipoff point.

Does anyone has the similar experience for hiking during August? Is it possible to do 12.6 miles roundtrip in one day? If you are interested, please let me know. My only concern is the temperature. The surface would be around 120 degree around Tipoff point.
