We will probably do it the end of July. However, it should be fun as the high way is stress free except entering Paris.

In the mid way in BE, there is a TOTAL gas station which offers great food, you can try some belgium mussels. (Can not exactly remember where it is)

look after french policemen, do not drive left lane where the right one is free. Those policymen have hobby of catching german-plate cars
