我想请问您一个问题－我不小心把绿卡丢了（是conditional 那种，明年7月到期）可是我这个周一要到新单位报道，我护照上也没有i-551的visa stamp。我该怎么办？
提供绿卡的复印件给单位可以吗？
-Talk to the HR to see whether they can accept the copy of the green card. If they accept it, then it is fine.
另外您认为我应该马上补办绿卡，还是等几天看看我可不可以找回绿卡呢
-Up to you. But if your HR does not accept the green card copy, then I suggest you to file I-90 online and get the receipt notice immediately after you file it (print it out after you submit the I-90 online). Then, bring your passport and the I-90 filing receipt to the local USCIS Office to get the green card stamp. Then, provide the green card stamp to HR to work.
