绿了，What's the difference?

我相信所有光临这个坛子的人都知道绿卡对我们意味着什么。今天我的绿卡批了。在走道上遇到以前的老板(一个老美)。我告诉他经过这么多年的等待终于拿到绿卡了。他说："Oh, Congradulations! What's the difference?"
我一愣，答道："I can stop working now and choose to live in the street without being kicked out of this country"
