Care for chicken pox is a little more like care for severe skin rash. My kid eventurally got chicken pox naturally before age 10 after my efforts. : )) He just stayed at home for a week and took an oatmeal bath everyday. Nothing left on his skin. If he gets it after age 16, the symptom would be much severe.
