Clearwater beach is far more superior than Key West. Clearwater beach is very very wide and certainly is white sand beach.
Key West is not famous for its beaches - in fact, it has very little beach areas, and not good for swimming either.

Honestly speaking, it is more suited for adults than kids. As a side note, Key West is also having large concentration of gays and le*****ians.
The upper Keys are more scenic than lower Keys. You will find some nice spots before and after the 7 mile bridge areas.
Honestly speaking, we have no idea why so many would go to Key West while there are so many other places in South Florida that are far superior.
Be careful about those so-called Best Beaches in the U.S. - the criterias are not necessarily meaning they are the most beautiful - and it really is a gimmick as a beach can only be named once every so-many years, forgot whether it is 5 or 7 years - so most beaches get named at least once - to attract tourists (those un-initiated, or un-educated).
Sunset is much more beautiful on the West side of Florida - the Gulf side, including Clearwater, and Siesta Key down at Sarasota, plus Anna Marie Island, just off Sarasota/Bradenton.
As for your job choices - neither Boca nor Tallahasse has much Chinese community, but Boca is much much more upscale and expensive than Tallahasse. Boca is on the Atlantic side with real estate prices to match. Also it is a very upscale town. Tallahasse is in the central (state capital) and a government/university town. Very boring and rather cold in winter as well (by Florida standard).
Generally speaking, Florida does not have big Chinese communities, but Orlando, Ft.Lauderdale/Miami areas tend to have more Chinese / Asian people. None have any supermarkets that can equal to those found in Northwest, California or even Georgia, but they are adequate little shops that you can get all your seasonings, selective vegetables (if you must). We moved to Florida since 1998 and have not missed anything.
