The rally in dollar will likely be short lived. Unless we indeed get into deflation,commodities will probably in general resume their uptrend. However,for oil (as well as PM), I speculate political factors play a more important role than the other commodities. If the connection (inverse or otherwise) between coal and oil is not that strong, I 'd guess coal may continue rising for while.
