OpenAI's big setback??

The promised 100 Billion OpenAI Investment Was ‘Never a Commitment,’ Nvidia’s Huang Says

althought he said OPENAI is one of most consequential companies in our time.

Obvious, he took one step back from his initial promise. 

We should ask why? Has Jenssen seen any emerging risk in Open AI. Maybe, not comfortable about OpenAI's aggressive funding goal, may be OpenAI's recent funding effort fell short, maybe Open AI face  too serious competition from GOOgle or others. Maybe Nvida just want to reduce its risk. ....

2. The funding risk OpenAI, may have

Nvda is the first bigger funding partner who show some reluctance. Let's see there may be other's to follow.

3. Remember, The adminstriation recently reiterate that they are not going to gurantee OpenAI's debts or investment.

4. Any big implication for AI bubble overall?

5. Any OpenAI's problem is msftsoft's problem, which holds 27% of OpenAI

6. not good news for Orcl as well. 

 

In short, not a good news for Open AI.
