Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) reported quarterly earnings of $1.95 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.57 by 24.28 percent. This is a 36.36 percent increase over earnings of $1.43 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $180.169 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $177.754 billion by 1.36 percent. This is a 13.40 percent increase over sales of $158.877 billion the same period last year.
