Back online, some historical QQQ pattern (repost)

Sharing a few more QQQ chart patterns during the time 200D EMA was crossed for the first time when QQQ came down from the top. I pick a few dramatic moments such as Dotcom crash, 08 finanical crash, COVID crash, etc, but you can see these kind of patterns pretty consistently in other times as well. This is NOT 100% reliable but probablity is pretty high. Also, these are not the only patterns but I pick them as they are easy to recognize

GreenLine == 200D EMA

OrangeLine == 50D EMA

Pattern 1: QQQ penetrate 200D EMA, and not able to recover from it quickly (ie, in next 2-3 days), in majority of time, QQQ would go down much further. You can see this in 2008 crash  and 2022 crash (chart below)

 

 

Pattern 2: If QQQ manage to hold EMA200 and start to bounce (again, sometimes it takes 2-3 days to confirm), it would almost always rebound back and touch EMA50 again. See 2018 crash, 2020 Covid Crash, and 2000 Dotcom crash
