Income fund means....

These fund focus on generating income (ie, dividend) as first priority, and share price gain as secondary priority. In other word, the fund manager would distribute large percentage of their income as dividend, instead of investing (which is what high-tech company would do).

 

When you compare performance of any income fund, you want to compare that against divident ajusted performance
