don't be fooled by the non farm headline numbers

The headline number is 275k, beating concensus 198 K.

But December number was revised down by 43k, and January number was also revised  down by 124K.  The total revsion of  the two month was 167K.

If we factor in those -167k in , the Febuary non-farm number is just 275-167=108k, much lower than concensus.

 

This is why unemployment rate is higher now at 3.9%
