记得I-Bond是基于Base Rate + Inflation Rate * 2

Base rate is decided when you purchase I-Bond, and fixed until it is matured. Inflation rate is adjusted twice each year. Now inflation rate is high, you get good return. But the base rate is fixed at very low. So if after a couple of years, inflation rate drops, then the I-Bond return will become pretty low.
