Another two palces, Just cross the ferry in Galveston, in the Bolivar Peninsula. There are Avocets and white pelicans:

2.  Bolivar Flats in Bolivar peninsula: Texas state Highway 87 to Rettilon Road, go to beach, turn to right until the end, walk to there

3. 17th street from 87 in Bolivar Peninsula: also has some birds, fishing and crabbing
