Xi Jinping just visited, and gathered BRICS nations to establish a new reserve bank, so that BRICS nations and other nations like Argentina do not need to rely on IMF or other financial institutes that are controled by U.S. and EU. It is difficult to imagine the new BRICS reserve will watch Argentina belly up. On the other hand, the new BRICS reserve is an arch rival against U.S. lead financial system. The current top dogs have strong incentives to ruin the party. Maybe Argentina becomes their first battle field
