If sell options,

1) W2 income increases the amount of tax we pay.
2) Excellent if stock price drops after selling
and never goes back in the near future.

If sell stocks,

1) Capital gain increases, the amount of tax
we pay will be much smaller.
2) Good if stock prices drops after selling and
never goes back in the near future.
