Then jobs would be plenty in US. Imagine Yuan to US 1:8, no more out sourcing. There would be plenty of dollars around. Inflation will be high, but economy booms. We can afford $200 oil. While others cannot because they have no jobs and therefore no money.
This is is free trade. Actually, the US economy is based on competition and use comparative advantage principle. Other countries, if they do not manipulate currency exchange rate, they have no way to compete. All countries should find their comparative advantage products/services. This is the most efficient way. If country A have to spend 20 years to make a car, it should buy a car instead of making it. Country A should use resources to produce something that has advantage. I find Sweeden and Finland are good at this.
