I think SEC is doing this to solve current financial

crisis, which I agree with SEC.

But I think SEC should have ban abusive naked shorting a long time ago, but government officials are usually too busy to care small citizens like us, they will only work effectively when there is a big crisis.

Just imagine those small investors' pain, when their shares gets punished to unbelievable lows, then there comes a big guy buying the whole company. I lost a lot on this on ency.

Anyway, I think naked short was meant for market maker to maintain liquidity at the beginning, it should not be abused.
